Leslie Segrete, Celebrity Carpenter for "While You Were Out".

Leslie Segrete, Carpenter

Leslie Segrete, is one of the carpenter’s for TLC’s hit show "While You Were Out".

The popularity of the program is a result of a lot of hard work. This is what Leslie enjoys most about working on "While You Were Out", creativity, dedication, and a good sense of humor. The challenges of working under such strict guidelines such as budget and time limits have only encouraged Leslie to become more creative and to figure out the best ways to accomplish each task. As a benefit of that Leslie has added many projects to her bag of tricks.

Trained as a set designer for the stage and television, she has had to design a variety of programs and environments as well as to figure out the best way to achieve these visions. Leslie Segrete has appeared at a number of Home and Garden Expos across the United States to share many of these shortcuts and insights with event attendees and viewers of "While You Were Out". She truly enjoys getting to spend time with the folks who enjoy the show and teach them a variety of new skills and ideas. Some of her previous demonstration topics have included, Pillow how-to, Dining Chair Slipcovers, Reupholstery, Non-Carpentry Carpentry Projects, Faux Painting, Blue Foam Carving, Upholstered Headboards, and many more that can be custom planned to fit in with the theme and sponsors of your upcoming event. Leslie does not forget to spend time with her younger fans, which are really getting into design, by creating children’s demo session topics; previous ones have included shadow lamp shades and sock monkeys. Leslie Segrete loves to get out there and answer questions about "While You Were Out" and the opportunity to share her skills, and encourage your attendees to achieve their design dreams.

Chayse Dacoda, Celebrity Interior Designer

Chayse Dacoda, Interior Designer

A featured designer in WHILE YOU WERE OUT, Chayse Dacoda has been transforming interiors since she began re-arranging the family furniture at age 6. Her design style ranges from exotic Indonesian to cozy New England and all points in between.
One recent renovation encompassed creating a 'French Country' office compound for a former network studio president on a private three-acre estate. Originally pursuing a study in economics at the University of Pennsylvania, Chayse left finance behind to start her design business in Los Angeles six years ago. Set design and art direction originally called her name but she found her passion in doing residential and commercial interiors - "more permanence to it". Chayse believes that "design is about incorporating style and beauty into a very comfortable, livable space for a client. I really work to create a mood and a feeling, as if the home or space takes on a personality when you enter it. In this age, people really need a sanctuary, and I help them create that."
Although her business is based in Los Angeles, her design business has recently taken her to New York as well, and she says she will go anywhere in the world to create a beautiful space.
